Robin Parsons
Growing up in upstate New York, I spent much of my time outdoors, exploring nature and loving the surrounding lakes. I studied graphic design and received a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. After graduating, I spent 13 years in Boston working in graphic design and advertising. I then moved to Seattle, where I was drawn to use my creativity in a field that connected me to nature. I returned to school to study horticulture and landscape design. At that time, I was fortunate to provide the conceptual design for the Whale Tail Park, loved by my two daughters and which happened to be in a historically significant area of Seattle. This two year project allowed me to collaborate with landscape Architects, public artists, a planning team and the community. It was a great start to my newly found career.
I am passionate about creating outdoor spaces that reflect the interests and lifestyles of my clients, while integrating an environmentally mindful design. My goal with every project is to create a space that combines timeless and thoughtful solutions.
I am a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers and the Northwest Perennial Alliance.
